  1. Short: Sample hi-quality 3D objects from ViewPoint
  2. Dear user,
  3. These are 5 free Datasets supplied by Viewpoint Animation
  4. Engineering.  They can be used and distributed freely. 
  5. If you are interested in getting a Free Viewpoint 100 page
  6. catalog, please call 1-800-328-2738.  These Datasets may
  7. not be used commercially in their original or modified
  8. form.

  10. These objects are uploaded here in both Imagine and LightWave
  11. formats. The same objects are in each archive, just in
  12. different formats. the "IOB" archive has the Imagine objects
  13. and the "LWOB" archive has the LightWave objects. 
  14. The objects are: a cartoonish Al Capone figure, a '32 Dodge,
  15. a tommygun, a lamp, a violin case, and the ViewPoint logo.
  16. These objects were handed out at the Siggraph Convention
  17. in Chicago in 1992 by ViewPoint. Their catalog is very impressive.
  18. Call them for a copy.  They sell pre-made objects in dozens of
  19. computer renderer formats with prices ranging from $50 to $5000.
  20. They also do custom digitizing of your objects.  Their facilities
  21. are located in Orem, Utah, USA.
